Selina leads the Vialto Australia Workforce Transformation and Managed Services team. Her key focus is helping organisations with the development, review and implementation of global mobility strategy, policy, processes and tools.  She has a passion for supporting organisations to make moving people internationally and domestically as easy as possible. With over 22 years of experience across mobility HR and tax, Selina has worked with organisations across a range of sectors, geographies and sizes to help solve their mobility challenges.  Outside of work, Selina loves nothing more than to spend quality time with her husband and two children – exploring Sydney’s great harbourside spots, fabulous restaurants and drinking coffee!

Jeremy started his career as a graduate tax consultant at KPMG in the international Executive Services team. There he worked primarily in compliance and the preparation of income tax returns for internationally travelling expatriates as well as across the global mobility, employment taxes and FBT space.  In 2013, after three years with KPMG Jeremy made the move to work in the global mobility team at Monash University and has now spent the last 6 years managing the team who primarily provide in-house immigration services to international staff, managing the relocation of domestic and international staff, the establishment of employment arrangements at its international satellite campuses and locations as well as facilitating short and long term assignments between these locations.

Anna Michielsen is ECA’s General Manager for Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific.

ECA provides Assignment Management Software, Assignment Calculators and Tools, Data, Consultancy and Training for organisations with globally mobile workforces.
Anna’s role leading ECA’s regional Pacific team is wide-ranging – from delivering day to day client solutions through to mobility policy and software implementation projects. Best of all is working with ECA’s great clients across an extensive range of industries and organisations.

Prior to ECA, Anna has more than 20 years’ experience in corporate HR and remuneration roles with companies in the technology, finance, FMCG and government sectors. These roles encompassed strategy and reward alignment, employee engagement and organisational values transformation. Career experience in the corporate world has given Anna great insight for a role with a service provider.

Leane leads Global Mobility at Canva and has been working in the Global Mobility industry for over 15 years. Having grown up in an expat family living in various countries across many cultures, Leane has an undeniable passion for the world of global mobility, both personally and professionally. Prior to joining Canva, Leane spent many years in professional services leading the Australian internal global mobility team at KPMG, sitting on KPMG International’s Global Mobility Council. She started her career with a focus on immigration, working for The Canadian Consulate General in Shanghai then PwC Legal & Smith Stone Walters in the UK.  Leane’s areas of expertise include the delivery of global mobility strategy, policy implementation and operational management. She has experience in large-scale business adjustments to global mobility programs that include navigating remote working, virtual assignments and the management of tax, immigration and compliance risk across various jurisdictions.

Shumin is Senior Manager, Global Mobility at Micron Technology Inc.  Shumin has held roles across HR and Global Mobility focusing on APAC and with the most recent leading the Mobility program in NA and EMEA. Shumin has been involved in numerous expansion and key talent moves, instrumental in driving initiatives and ensure early collaboration with key stakeholders, and transform the role of global mobility. She is recently named as the Rising Star of the Year in the FEM EMMA America 2022 and the team received the Employee Experience Award – Best Talent Mobility Programme 2022 (Gold).

Shumin’s other true passion is in diversity, equality and inclusive (DE&I) where she is the co-lead for the Micron Women’s Leadership Network’s (MWLN). The team received the HR Excellence award in Empowering Women Strategy 2021 (Silver). With this passion, she is influencing to integrate the DEI into the mobility program.

Alf is an international HR Crisis, Talent Mobility, and People Operations Partner turned entrepreneur with a talent for developing and deploying functional efficiencies in HR operations across Asia, Africa, Europe and the Americas.

As a strategic corporate business partner and senior-level consultant, he is currently engaged to operationalise a people-focused Global HR Crisis & Incident Response framework at Meta, and previously held a Senior Regional HR Leader, Talent Mobility position for Asia Pacific & Sub-Saharan Africa at General Electric.

Alf is an experienced consultant, service director and program manager with intellectual curiosity, strong business acumen and effective communication skills.

Lynne Florence, GPHR, SHRM-SCP is a global mobility leader with a strong focus on partnering with the business to provide effective and flexible solutions. As Programs Manager on the HPE Global Employee Mobility team, she brings more than 12 years of global talent mobility capabilities gained through her work in the oil and gas sector, and more recently, in technology at Hewlett Packard Enterprise. Her experience in managing large and complex mobility programs at National Oilwell Varco and Halliburton placed her at the forefront of mobility program design, global immigration, global relocation, expatriate tax and talent mobility. Currently at HPE, Lynne is working on many projects and program enhancements including; employee experience, talent mobility, remote working, posted worker directives and global immigration initiatives to name a few.  During her career, Lynne has also added proficiency in other HR areas and projects, including HRBP, onboarding, deferred and global compensation, and M&A. She holds an MA in Psychology and Management Studies from the University of Aberdeen in Scotland. Lynne currently lives and works in Houston

Liz is an experienced senior HR professional with over 30 years extensive experience working in the international business environment. Currently Liz is the Regional APAC & India Global Mobility Manager for Jacobs Engineering Group based in Sydney. In this role Liz oversees the end to end mobility function for the region encompassing tax, immigration, relocation, compliance, policy/procedure along with assignee and family support. Liz is a senior member of the Global Mobility team reporting into Jacobs HQ in Dallas US.

Monique is a Director in the EY People Advisory Services team, and is responsible for leading the Melbourne Assignment Services and Mobility Transformation team and offerings. As part of her role, Monique works with a diverse range of clients to design, develop and implement bespoke and innovative mobility solutions, spanning across policy, process, operating model and technology.  In addition, Monique leads the administration of international and domestic mobility programs for her clients and has an extensive understanding of the end to end mobility lifecycle.

Monique has over 15 years’ experience in mobility, and has been an international and domestic expatriate and undertaken multiple client secondments and works collaboratively with her clients to execute mobility and talent strategies, and also bring her unique personal experience to her work.

Monique holds a Bachelor of Commence – Accounting from Macquarie University and is a member of the TEMI Taskforce. Monique has also been highly commended for her work in the Global Mobility space, recognised in the 2019 TEMI Mobility Champion awards and received a 2019 FEM APAC EMMA Award for her EY thought leadership on Diversity and Inclusiveness in Global Mobility.

With a background in emergency services and emergency management, Jessica has spent more than a decade assisting companies to fulfil their duty of care obligations to their employees and the communities in which they operate. Specialising in the areas of employee wellbeing and organisational risk mitigation, Jessica has worked across global emerging markets, driving risk mitigation practices within her clients businesses’ from Melbourne to Mongolia.

As General Manager, ANZ with International SOS, Jessica is passionate about helping organisations move towards more sustainable business practices as their operations rapidly expand into new regions, guiding them on how to adopt the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, turning global goals into local business practices.

Jacquie Davidson is a global HR and Mobility leader, most recently serving as Head of the Asia Pacific and Japan Employee Resource Centre and Mobility Advisor at Adobe. Before joining Adobe as their Head of Global Mobility, she headed the global mobility program at Google and worked at several tech firms in Silicon Valley, including Facebook and eBay. She recently repatriated back to the US from Sydney, Australia after a 3.5 year assignment.

Bridget is a global mobility practitioner and strategist with degrees in Economics and Political Science and a background as an expat, diplomat, writer and analyst. A New Zealander by birth, Bridget has lived and worked in India and Singapore.  She founded Mobile Relocation in 2016 and now partners with New Zealand and international businesses, to provide specialist services to recruit, resettle, retain and develop the offshore and expat talent on which the New Zealand economy depends.  Mobile is known for innovative, people-focussed talent mobility programmes and was recognised by TEMI with the Leading Wellbeing Programme Initiative and Employee Experience Awards in 2019 and the Mobile Workforce Initiative of the Year in 2020.  Ongoing learning and thought leadership key to Mobile’s mission. Bridget presents on talent mobility in New Zealand and internationally, and her work has been widely published online, in the media and industry publications.

Dr Michelle Phipps was recently appointed General Manager HR AusPac: Business Partnership and Talent at QBE Insurance. Prior to this role, Michelle was Group Head of Talent, Leadership and Inclusion at Coca-Cola Amatil. Michelle also serves as a member of the Australian Human Resources Institute D&I Advisory Committee. Before joining Amatil, Michelle was Vice President HR Asia Pacific for Brown-Forman Global Spirits. She was on the Board of the Australian Drinks Association and Committee Member for its Women in Drinks and HRD Forum and also served as an NED on the Board of AusDance NSW. Before Brown-Forman, Michelle was HR Director ANZ for the Kellogg Company, HR leader for Coles Supermarkets NSW and spent nine years early on in her career in Retail Sales and Store Management at David Jones. Michelle has a PhD in Culture and Identity, a Masters in HR Management and is a Fellow of the Australian Human Resources Institute. She lives in Sydney with her husband and two children.

I have been in Global Mobility for over 20 years spanning a variety of roles on the service delivery side and in-house mobility. I started my mobility journey at Price Waterhouse in the UK providing consultancy services to external clients where I fell in love with the variety each day would bring; the high of knowing you helped a family with a relocation and working collaboratively with clients to evolve their mobility function. After 12 years with Price Waterhouse, and going through the merger that created PwC, I decided to move into the corporate space as an in-house mobility expert, I had various roles within PepsiCo and Honeywell and experienced my own International Assignment, as well as a secondment into the Compensation & Benefits function. My family and I decided to make the move to Sydney in 2017 and we’ve loved any minute of it. I joined PwC Australia leading their in-house mobility function for the region, and I am currently with King & Wood Mallesons as we embark on their mobility journey. Each and every one of my roles has taught me something about myself, the value mobility can bring, and I’ve had the pleasure of learning from some incredible leaders. I am passionate about mobility and love to seek ways to evolve the function to ensure alignment with business strategy, create a positive employee experience, and ultimately see mobility on a journey towards greatness!

Angie’s unique background and 30+ years of experience in over 100 countries has created a results-oriented Mobility Professional with extensive experience and proven track record in managing large corporate Global Mobility programs. Her finance, tax and commercial background as well as her on the ground project experience allows her to be more “in tune” with her clients, the business and the assignees.

Angie has a keen ability to teach others, is a passionate and enthusiastic believer in Mobility; a welcome speaker at Mobility conferences and round tables and is an ardent champion of Global Mobility technology:

Vick Pillay is the MD of MindTribes, a consultancy that drives business performance through cross-cultural alignment; co-founder of Culturally Diverse Women, CDW. Under his leadership, both brands have had award winning success, with MindTribes being recognised as one of Westpac’s Businesses of Tomorrow, 2018 and Telstra Business Award Finalists, 2016. His focus is on identifying growth pathways, improving financial and business performance, and developing individuals and diverse teams.

He brings this expertise and his global leadership experience having worked with multinationals across Europe, America, Africa, Asia and Australia. Vick is a board member for Australian Philippines Business Council.

He is also a Plan International Ambassador and acts as an advisor to the Breast Cancer Network, Australia and Australian Conservation Foundation.

Ong Seow Yin is Vice President, Human Resources at World Fuel Services, a Fortune 500 Oil & Gas company based out of Miami, Florida, USA. Responsible for all spectrum of the HR operations in the Asia Pacific region, Seow Yin is based in Singapore.

With over 25 years of experience in the field of HR, she currently oversees all aspects of HR operations in Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, India, China and Australia. As a strategic business partner, Seow Yin provides significant input for HR and human capital management initiatives in the company.

With her extensive experience and knowledge in mobility, international compensation, relocation policies formulation, mergers & acquisition as well as other niche HR functions, Seow Yin brings to the table her strategic insights in international HR operations.

Marieke is an experienced transformation executive. She has over 20 years of global experience working in strategy, business transformation and leading organisations through both operational and cultural change.

She has worked primarily in the investment banking sector overseas, before returning to New Zealand to work in audit, business development, strategy and HR for Fonterra; before moving to Air New Zealand, where she managed the development and delivery of the international airline strategy as well as the development and delivery of a new culture and engagement strategy to support the airline’s vision.

More recently, Marieke has been independently consulting to CEO’s around digital strategy and business transformation, working across corporates and SMEs on their changing work environment, whilst assisting in the implementation.

Marieke is highly strategic in her thinking, with key strengths in turning the innovative thinking into practical solutions. She has a passion for working with New Zealand businesses on the development of their future potential, including digital capability, the future of work and organisational development required to deliver this growth.

Dawn has worked in the Global Mobility industry for over 20 years. Her current role is in the UK as the Head of Global Mobility for Johnson Matthey Plc, a FTSE 100 Company. She is responsible globally for all aspects of the Group’s short and long term international assignments, permanent international moves, domestic relocations and short term business visitor compliance. Prior to this she has had Global, European and Asia Pacific Global Mobility roles based in the UK, Australia and New Zealand working for global companies such as IBM, PwC, Accenture and Fonterra, New Zealand’s largest global company.

Australasia – International Mobility Lead, Arup

Tom is a Compensation, Benefits and Global Mobility specialist with a strong background in managing international people assignments across Financial Services and Higher Education industries.

With over ten years’ experience in Human Resources, Tom has worn many hats and played many roles. Tom led the procurement process to identify the right mobility partner to deliver the future-state vision for RMIT University. Prior to the University, Tom streamlined the global mobility processes at Computershare and created efficiencies for people movements across 20 countries. Tom has also reviewed and redeveloped global mobility policies and procedures across both organisations. Tom is currently informing compensation, benefits and global mobility process for the Workday implementation at RMIT University.

Tom has completed a master’s degree in Human Resource Management from Monash University and is very connected to their alumni and student mentorship programs. Tom is a staunch Liverpool supporter and in his spare time, he produces music, makes short films and travels the world.

Nicky Brophy is an experienced HR and International Mobility Specialist with 20 years’ experience in General HR, Recruitment and International HR. Currently leading the Mobility Program for Ericsson across 16 countries throughout South East Asia, Oceania and India supporting mobility strategy, alignment and policy.

Nicky has worked for large multinational companies in both the oil and gas and telecommunication industries. Nicky is focused on collaborating with key business stakeholders to enable improved outcomes in cross border employment and the mobility program.

Working in a highly complex organisation over 180 countries Nicky’s strong mobility background supports Ericsson with the expatriate taxation and immigration compliance solutions. Ericsson rely on Nicky’s expertise to effectively manage its mobility program to mobilise and build key capability for business success. Today, Nicky is on the Australian committee for The Forum of Expatriate Management and an active member of TEMI.

Leigh holds a wealth of experience across rewards, strategy and business transformation. He led the rewards function across Asia Pacific at leading brewer Carlton United Breweries/AB-InBev, before completing his Executive MBA (with Melbourne Business School) and transitioning out of rewards into the role of Corporate Strategy Director for Australia, India and South East Asia. More recently, he was involved with the demerger of Coles Group from Wesfarmers, and now leads strategic projects and trade planning for Non Food within Coles Supermarkets.

Leigh has worked on two of the largest demergers in Australia (Foster’s/TWE, Wesfarmers/Coles), and multiple acquisitions. He’s had the opportunity to manage and develop domestic and international mobility programs through these times of change. His strategy experience has also allowed him to review foreign markets through a commercial lens. On a personal level, Leigh is a keen traveller having explored over 40 countries – driven by a passion to seek out unique life experiences.
